The Phoenix Symphony
This was a unique experience, and I hope we can see more like it. To have a composer not only explain his work but to join in singing and playing it was so educational in such an entertaining way. The professional singers were amazing and the rapport between them and Stephen Swartz was charming. So glad he had Debbie Gravitte sing without symphonic accompaniment - it was like an impromptu party. Thank you, Phoenix Symphony -you hit it out of the ballpark this time. I was able to bring my daughter-in-law.
