The Phoenix Symphony
Thank you, Vet Tix, The Phoenix Symphony Hall, Conductor Lina Gonzalez-Granados, The Phoenix Symphony Orchestra, Christopher Theofanidis and your Percussion Collective, Jose' Francisco Salgado, PhD, for your KV 265 Science & Symphony Film, all the wonderful people behind the scenes for such a great concert; The Planets, and all the sacrificial volunteers. My wife and I had not been to the Symphony Hall since November of 2022. Way too long! Wow! What an amazing show! The orchestra was tremendous! The arrangements, as well as the conducting by Lina Gonzalez-Granados, were spectacular. She made history as the first Latina to open a symphony. Christopher Theofanidis’ Percussion Collective, which was the first part of the program, was off the charts. Talk about many moving parts, energy enough for an army, musicians playing multiple instruments, and party time. They were having fun, and it was great to be a part of that!Jose' Francisco Salgado, PhD's KV 265 Science & Symphony Film was magnificent. It was produced based on telescopic photos and scientific data of some of the planets and the universe. It was projected onto a big screen while the orchestra played in sequence. It was mind boggling! The Phoenix Symphony Hall is a fabulous venue. There are no bad seats in the house. My wife, friends, and I had awesome seats in Section B, Row 25, although we were upgraded to Handicapped-Center. The Hall had liquor and soda and coffee bars, which added a nice touch. Again, thank you, Vet Tix, The Phoenix Symphony Hall, Conductor Lina Gonzalez-Granados, The Phoenix Symphony Orchestra, Christopher Theofanidis and your Percussion Collective, Jose' Francisco Salgado, PhD, for your KV 265 Science & Symphony Film, all the giving volunteers, and your esteemed staffs for such a splendid evening. My family, friends, and I are truly grateful for your generosity and all you do for us, vets, active military, and first responders, as well as our communities and country! You are life savers! Sincerely, Chuck
