Dear New West Symphony, You guys rock! The Carmina and Carnival performance was delightful, as it was visceral—a whole spectrum of colors and evocations. The Saint-Saens piece brought back many childhood memories of hearing and performing it. The O Fortuna was outta this world fantastic! Deep, dark, dramatic —true to its medieval inspiration. The instrumental soloists and the singers were first rate! Beautiful all around. It was truly an evening to remember. Thank you for donating the seats to the Veterans community. And just as important, thank you for the 3000+ kids you’ll be performing Carnival to this week to introduce and inspire them to the world of classical music and live performing arts. You do things right! Semper Supra!
