What an amazing outing! It was opening night for the Rattlers, they unveiled their championship banner and win the game. The women’ equipment didn’t work for the National Anthem; so, the crowd sang it acappella. My wife and I were able to bring 2 friends who had never been to a game. They enjoyed it so much that they’re looking into purchasing season tickets. There was an empty seat next to me and a Vietnam veteran in the seat next to that. He told me that empty seat was for his wife that couldn’t attend because she’s sick. He’s 84 and she’s 82. I gave him information about the PGA HOPE Southwest Foundation (www.desperation.org/pga-hope/#training) that offers 6 weeks of free golf lessons from PGA professionals to veterans, and Sanctioned Play Days after that. He was so excited about it! He gave me his contact information, and we became new friends. Thank you for making this possible.
