Dear Pittsburgh Pirates Organization ticket donor, I would like to thank you for the two tickets so kindly donated on my behalf. You made a wonderful night and trip to Pittsburgh available for my wife and I. The donation of tickets to the Pirates-Blue Jay game this past Monday, Aug, 18, 2025 was greatly appreciated and enjoyed my the two of us and made for a great “date day/night”. We made the trip down from Grand Island (Buffalo, NY) during the day, had a nice early dinner and the game on a perfect crystal-clear night. The cool evening, baseball, peanuts, and a couple beers were super. We parked on the other side of the rivers and took the Gateway Clipper (ferry) to the game. This made for a wonderful ride and view of the beautiful bridges and city during the evening and later at night. My wife had never been on the Clipper. I have been to Pirate (and Steelers) games many time before but this was my wife’s first time. My wife is a Blue Jays fan and she was disappointed that they lost to the Pirates but thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Thank you again for this wonderful opportunity in Pittsburgh and to watch a MLB game. Thank you for thinking of Veterans and giving us this special opportunity.
