Big shout-out and thanks to each of the 93 great donors who gave and made it possible for me to attend my very first ever hockey game! 🏒🥅 I've never really been a sports fan before this year (nothing against sports, I just have other hobbies and I spend alot of time doing creative arts). I've only ever seen short clips of hockey game highlights (like on the news). So I had formed an (unfair) assumption, based solely on those clips, that I wouldn't like the game. Well, I do like to branch out and try new things, and I'm willing to try most things once (at least). WOW!!! I was pleasantly surprised at how much I actually enjoyed being at the game!! One thing that really surprised me was that often when the puck was in play the stadium was quiet enough that the main sounds were the "clack" of the sticks against the puck, and skates carving the ice. So cool!! Thank you again for your generosity, which helped make this experience possible for me! 😎
