Thank you, Vet Tix, Major League Baseball, Chase Field, Arizona Diamondbacks, Cincinnati Reds, the Police, Security, vendors, promoters, coordinators, and your great staffs for a most splendid evening and game. Chase Field is a fantastic stadium. We had seats in Section 301, Row 20, Seats 20-23, along the first base line, in the upper deck, overlooking the entire field. What an incredible view! The variety of food and beverages inside the stadium is always a plus, but we are allowed to bring in our own snacks and water, which saves a lot of money. This time though, I purchased a footlong "Reds Dog," as in Cincinnati Reds, with chili, cheese, onions, and mustard. It was scrumptious! I also got an iced tea. Yesterday was a promo day. It was Hispanic Heritage Weekend, presented by Estrella Jalisco, focusing on the Dominican Republic, so the first 25,000 fans were given D-back Serpientes Replica Jerseys. Consequently, when we got to the stadium, there were lines everywhere, and it was three o'clock, two hours before the start of the game! Needless to say, it was one of the most attended games I have been to. Since we arrived so early, we got to watch batting practice, the grounds keepers' prepping the field, and listen to Bobby Freeman play the organ, which was pretty cool. A lot of work goes into getting fields ready! The Los Tigres De Tolleson Mariarchi Band, lead by instructor Efrain Casillas, performed before the game, and Miss Navarro, of Los Tigres, sang the National Anthem. During the game, there were plenty of family activities and festivities, and people and groups were honored, such as: Outstanding Dominican Community Leaders, Aliento Award Winning Non-Profit, 20th Anniversary of Helios Education Foundation, Xico Ethnic Arts Organization, Oblivious Cam, the Hot Dog Derby (Relish won), DJ Skreamcutz, Mi Patio Mexican Restaurant, 2025 Arizona Diamondbacks Nike RBI Senior World Series Champions, Cold Stone Creamery Celebration Messages, Budweiser Cheers to Heros (military and first responders), Cox Legends Race (Mark Grace, Matt Williams, Randy Johnson, and Luis Gonzalez (Matty won), Talking Stick Match the Cards, Do the Dance Cam, Whataburger T-Shirt Toss, AZ Complete Health Seventh Inning Stretch, aps Electric Moments, Snackwards Cam, and D-backs 50/50 Charity Raffle, which exceeded $100,000. I've never seen it that high! The D-backs' bats were hot from the first inning when they scored three runs. They claimed another two in the third, two more in the fourth, and one in the fifth, all off three homers by Perdomo, Gurriel, Jr., and Alexander. Vargas got a triple in the sixth. Marte and Perdomo brought in two more runs in the eighth. The D-backs' pitching was tight. The last play of the game was a 4-6-3 double play. The D-backs won handily, 10-1. It was one of the best games I've ever seen. My wife, friends, and I were ecstatic. Again, thank you, Vet Tix, Major League Baseball, Chase Field, Arizona Diamondbacks, Cincinnati Reds, the Police, Security, vendors, promoters, coordinators, and your stupendous teams for making so many people happy. We, active military personnel, veterans, first responders, our families and friends, truly appreciate all you do for us, our communities, and our blessed nation! You rock! Sincerely, Chuck
