Thank you so much to Los Angeles Football Club and VetTix for the tickets to the Leagues Cup match against Mazatlán F.C. It was an intense and unforgettable night of soccer. LAFC scored first, but Mazatlán came back to equalize, and from there it was a hard-fought battle to the end. The match went to kicks from the penalty mark, not always the most thrilling part of the game, but this one was different. We watched the entire lineup take kicks, including the goalkeepers. It wasn’t until the 12th round that Mazatlán finally came out on top, winning 11–10. All 23 shots were heart-pounding and fun to watch. We’re really grateful for the chance to be there and take in the full drama of a night like that. Thank you again for making these experiences possible for veterans and their families. – John S.
