A very special thank you to the Arizona Cardinals for the tickets. When we sign up for the tickets, we never know what we are going to get. I was excited to get lower level seating in Section 137. What made it so amazing was that my daughter was part of the halftime show! High school cheerleaders from all over Arizona (900 of them!) were performing together at halftime. I was sitting in Section 137, Row 42. The seats were two away from the guardrail that looks down on the casitas and muster area. There were two people beside us (I had brought my daughter's best friends). It turned out the two people were supposed to be in the seats behind us, but I didn't mind; they were nice, and nobody had come to claim those seats. Then I saw the cheerleaders come out. I was telling the people beside me, with a big smile, "My daughter is down there somewhere :)" Without hesitation, they went back to their assigned seats so I could be close to the guardrail and look down. I saw my daughter and yelled her name. After the third yell (I stopped competing with the announcer), she looked up and saw me. It was truly the best seat I could have hoped for, and I had no idea what was what, so I wouldn't have known what seat to pick in the first place (How did the AZ Cardinals know?). This was just amazing, as I was able to interact with her while she was going in front of all those people to perform, and it was so much fun to watch. She and her friends had practiced their routine, had a sleepover, and left for the game at 5:30 AM! I didn't think I would see her until after the game, but aside from watching from above, I also saw her in the concourse before she had to go to the bus. The game ended sadly, but I was in tears for a different reason. If you knew the backstory, it makes this even more special. We've gone to a lot of great games and have a lot of amazing experiences thanks to you, but this one is the tops. I was able to capture great video of a core memory for her. She's a great kid from North High School with a 4.0+ GPA and has a wonderful spirit. She really wanted me there, and of course I was going to be, but I am glad I could share the experience from right where I was, instead of up in the 400s :) Thank you so much. Sgt Smith USMC US Army
