Thank you, Vet Tix, Major League Baseball, Chase Field, Arizona Diamondbacks, Boston Red Sox, Flo Rida, the Police, Security, vendors, sponsors, and your great staffs for a fun evening. Chase Field is definitely a great stadium. We had fantastic seats in Section 328, Row 22. The roof was closed, and it was pleasant inside. The wide variety of well-known food & beverage stations inside the park is a huge plus. Choirs Across the State led the stadium in singing the National Anthem. DJ Javin of Casamigos Tequila spun the vinyl. It was Waste Management Phoenix Open Night. A concert by Flo Rida followed the game. During the game, there were plenty of family activities, festivities, people and groups honored, such as Irish Cultural Center & McClelland Library, Whataburger Whatafan Cam, Hot Dog Derby (Mustard won), Waste Management Phoenix Open Night Putting, Coors Light Chillin' at the Yard, Cold Stone Creamery Celebration Messages, Budweiser Cheers to Our Heros (Military), Legends Race (Mark Grace, Matt Williams, Randy Johnson, and Luis Gonzalez; (Matty won), Spot the Changeup, State Farm Sing-Along, New Era D-Backs Cap Shuffle, Multiple Fan Cams, D-Backs 50/50 Charity Raffle ($39,000+ to the winner), etc. The D-Backs' Perdomo single-run homered in the 1st inning. Boston's Lowe trippled to drive in Gonzalez in the 2nd. A bad pitch by Boston's Tolle led to another D-Backs' run in the 2nd. D-Backs' Vargas hit a 3-run homer in the 3rd. D-Backs' Lawler brought in another run in the fifth. A double by Boston's Bregman brought in two runs in the eighth, followed by a sacrifice fly to right field by Gonzalez, which brought in another. A double by Refsnyder scored one more. A single by the D-Backs' Perdomo gave them one run, and a three-run homer by Carroll ushered in more also in the eighth. Boston's pitchers struggled, and their bats came alive way too late. Needless to say, Boston got crushed 10 to 5. I'm from Massachusetts, so the Red Sox are my team, but I am a D-Backs fan now that I live here. I was conflicted, especially since Boston is making a run for a Wild Card playoff spot. In any case, I still won. Again, thank you, Vet Tix, Major League Baseball, Chase Field, Arizona Diamondbacks, Boston Red Sox, Flo Rida, the Police, Security, vendors, sponsors, promoters, coordinators, and your fantastic teams. We, active military personnel, veterans, first responders, families, and friends truly appreciate all you do for us, our communities, and our blessed nation! Sincerely, Chuck
