Detroit Red Wings
A huge thank you to the Detroit Red Wings for donating tickets through 1st Tix and giving my son and me the opportunity to attend today’s game. Working as a firefighter in the Detroit metro area can be stressful. There are days when the weight of the job and everything happening in the world can really take its toll. Having the opportunity to step away from all of that for an evening, sit beside my son, watch some hockey, laugh, and simply enjoy being together means more than you may realize. Tonight wasn’t just about watching a hockey game. It was about making memories with my son and having a chance to forget about the troubles of the world for a few hours. Thank you to the Detroit Red Wings and 1st Tix for giving first responders and military members opportunities like this. Your generosity makes a real difference. Thank you again for allowing us to be there tonight. We truly appreciate it!
