Subject: A Heartfelt Thank You – An Unforgettable Homecoming Experience Dear 1st Tix and San Diego State University Athletics, I am writing to you today with a heart full of gratitude. Thank you so much for the incredible opportunity to attend the Aztecs vs. Fresno State Bulldogs game at Snapdragon Stadium on October 17th. As an SDSU nursing school alumna/alumnus, stepping back into the orbit of the campus during Homecoming was truly special. My time in the nursing program was intense and formative, and seeing the pride of the university always reminds me of the strong foundation I built there. It was wonderful to return as an alum and see the energy of the campus during such an exciting time of year. I also want to share just how much this gesture meant to me personally. Being a nurse is a deeply rewarding, yet physically and emotionally demanding profession. The daily pressure to care for others is a privilege, but it also leaves very little time to decompress. Having the chance to attend this game was exactly what I needed to release some steam. Being part of the crowd, hearing the roar of the stadium, and simply losing myself in the excitement of the game allowed me to reset and return to my duties with a much clearer, refreshed perspective. I am proud to be a part of the Aztec family, and it brings me joy to support the university and the team in every way I can. Whether it’s purchasing food, drinks, and merchandise at the stadium, I am always happy to give back. Knowing that my contribution helps sustain the programs that bring so much excitement and community to San Diego makes me feel even more connected to the school that launched my career. Thank you, 1st Tix, for your dedication to those of us on the front lines and for making experiences like this possible. Your support for healthcare professionals makes a tangible difference in our lives. And thank you, SDSU, for keeping the Aztec spirit alive and for always welcoming your alumni back with open arms.
