Dear 1st Tix and Pacific Concert Group, I am writing this note to express my profound gratitude for the tickets you provided for the "Freestyle Explosion" concert at the Frontwave Arena. As a nurse, my daily life is often defined by long, demanding shifts and the constant need to care for others. In that environment, it is easy to lose track of one's own well-being and the simple necessity of recharging. Being able to attend this concert was far more than just an evening out; it was a restorative experience that I deeply needed. There is something truly therapeutic about the music of the Freestyle era—the rhythm, the lyrics, and the collective energy of the crowd. Seeing artists like Stevie B, The Cover Girls, Trinere, Johnny O, Noel, Seduction, Nice N’ Wild, and Lisette Melendez perform live wasn’t just a show; it was a powerful reminder of joy and resilience. The music transported me back to a time of lightness and fun, allowing me to mentally disconnect from working and the stresses of the healthcare field. For a few hours, I wasn’t a nurse focused on patients, I was simply a fan enjoying an incredible lineup of legends who have soundtracked so many great moments in my life. The mental health benefit of having that kind of release cannot be overstated. It was the perfect reset, and I will return to my work feeling refreshed, uplifted, and more capable of continuing my duties with a positive outlook. I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to 1st Tix for their dedication to supporting first responders. Providing opportunities like this does so much to boost morale and show appreciation for the work we do. I am also incredibly grateful to the Pacific Concert Group for bringing such a high-quality production to the Frontwave Arena.
